CycleWell - Be Well Plan

Your performance on-and-off the bike, in your relationships, career, and every aspect of your life, is impacted by your mental health and wellbeing.

Global research very clearly shows that the psychological and behavioural solutions that we teach via the Be Well Plan can improve your mental health, with flow on effects improving all facets of your life.

Our training helps you better understand your own mental health and introduces you to tools and activities that are scientifically proven to improve your mental wellbeing and performance.

The Be Well Plan philosophy

Throughout this program you will learn different exercises and strategies to build strong and positive levels of mental health and wellbeing.

Throughout the program, you are taught helpful thinking styles and mindset skills, including mindfulness, cognitive flexibility, self-compassion and realistic optimism just to name a few.

This is not a one-size-fits all program: we won’t just give you some exercises. Rather, we will teach you how to find exercises and strategies tailored just for you and your unique needs.

You will experiment with different activities, figuring out what works and what does not. In the end you walk away with your own customised wellbeing plan – your very own Be Well Plan.

We train Aussie Cyclists – and their friends and family – in the research-proven tools and skills required to improve their mental health, wellbeing and performance.

We run exclusive, ONLINE, live and facilitated courses throughout the year and of course, we incorporate ‘tasters’ of these training sessions into the itinerary of all of our cycling retreats.

The Be Well Co Solution

Be Well Co developed the Be Well Plan as one of the solutions to desire for people and organisations to pro-actively work on their mental health.
Be Well Co brought together everyday people and got them to work with experts from the SAHMRI Wellbeing and Resilience Centre and Órama Institute for Mental Health and Wellbeing at Flinders University in Adelaide, Australia. They dissected the scientific evidence, worked on various delivery formats and tested them rigorously.
The result is a flexible mental health & wellbeing program, that can be tailored to the needs of individuals and organisations, is supported by technology and importantly: has real impact. And that’s what we are all about at cycleWELL.  So that is why we have chosen to partner with Be Well Co and deliver their training to our community.

Be Well Tracker

Take a scientific measurement of your mental health and receive an immediate online report on key domains such as mental wellbeing, resilience, stress, mood problems, anxiety and burnout. Your data is kept secure and private. While you explore your own mental health, you also contribute to vital scientific research.

Be Well Plan

Our group-based wellbeing program teaches you to find evidence-based activities tailored to your unique situation. It is taught online and in-person and delivered  over 5 weeks in 2-hour sessions, or in two, 3 hour sessions.
After your training with us you will walk away with a personalised wellbeing plan and we’ll provide you with resources to keep boosting the program’s impact over time.

Be Well Plan App

A smartphone for iOS and Android that support the Be Well Plan. The app holds videos of the training, is continuously updated with new activities and comes with a set of masterclasses that give you in-depth knowledge on wellbeing topics relevant to your unique solution.
