Regional Australia is in the midst of a mental health crisis.

For the one in three Australians who live in regional, rural and remote Australia – where mental health services are most lacking – the system is almost at breaking point. Members of the Central Victorian and Mallee region are two times more likely to die by suicide than those living in metropolitan regions. 106 people died by suicide in this region in 2021. For each of these deaths, studies estimate that up to 125 other people in our region were adversely affected through the grief, loss and trauma that these sudden and tragic deaths invoke.

Help us change this by joining the Grinding 4 Mental Health Tour.

Our Charity Partners are REACH Foundation and Lifeline Loddon Mallee.

EBikes welcome!

We don’t mind what you ride – as long as you have a great time!

Ride the Tour with Aussie Broadcasting legend Mike Tomalaris, and have lunch with the Director of Le Tour De France and global cycling identity Mr Christian Prudhomme!

This is a great opportunity to enjoy a week on your bike in beautiful regional Victoria. You will meet new and like-minded people who enjoy gravel cycling and tour through historic Central Victorian towns.

You will be a part of a unique, Australian-first event that will showcase the cycling community’s ability to contribute to real solutions for improving the mental health, wellbeing and resilience of the places where we love to ride.

You will be staying in 4.5 Star accommodation in central Bendigo for the 4 nights of the event – so there’ll be no need to pack up and move everyday.

You can chose a long or short course each day – depending on how you feel.  The long course will be approx 100km, the short course will be approx 50km.

The Tour will be capped at 20 Full Tour riders to ensure a boutique experience is enjoyed.
